MISSION BBQ donates $69,210 to Navy SEAL Foundation

Virginia Beach, VA: On Saturday, May 16, MISSION BBQ presented a donation of $69,210 to the Navy SEAL Foundation, the Virginia Beach-based national non-profit that serves the Naval Special Warfare community and its families. This donation was made possible by the generous support of their customers through the purchase of American Heroes Cups during the 2019 - 2020 period. Available at 5 MISSION BBQ locations in the Hampton Roads area, $2 from the purchase of an American Heroes Cup is donated to the Navy SEAL Foundation. Phil Boyer, Regional Director of Operations with MISSION BBQ will be presenting the check to Sara Berry, Director of Marketing and Communications for the Foundation. 

The collaboration between MISSION BBQ and the Navy SEAL Foundation began in March 2016 and this year’s donation will contribute to a total of over $270,000 for the non-profit organization. Co-founders Bill Kraus and Steve Newton could not be prouder to support the national military charity. “It’s our honor and privilege to Serve and Support such a respected and giving organization like the Navy SEAL Foundation. Their volunteers, programs, and dedicated efforts have tirelessly supported America’s Heroes,” said Steve Newton.

They consistently look for ways to give back to those in need and that makes them our heroes.
